Plant churches and make disciples.
OUR STORY
From Mission
to Movement.
Rooted in the work of the Island Missionary Society, BECA grew into a Bahamian fellowship of churches committed to biblical truth, church planting, leadership development and Gospel mission.
BECA's story is one of Gospel mission, Bahamian leadership and generations of men and women committed to building Christ-centered churches. As responsibility for the work transitioned increasingly into the hands of trained local pastors and leaders, the Bahamas Evangelical Church Association emerged as a fellowship committed to building the Church of Jesus Christ in local communities and around the world.
The association exists to help its member churches become more effective through fellowship, accountability, mutual assistance, shared service and a common commitment to Scripture.
Across the decades, that calling has expressed itself through church planting, missions, evangelism, Christian education, pastoral development, community outreach and investment in the next generation.
